In October 2017, Girl Scout Troop 6963 – Service Unit 50-6, spent the day cleaning up Shiloh Baptist Church’s original cemetery. Located behind the Hamlet Swim Club, this small cemetery was overgrown with brush and many tombstones had fallen over. Scouts left the tombstones in place, but cleared away brush and weeds and planted spring bulbs and perennials to honor those who are buried there.
